Check out i40 Tourer on your phone
NOW you can bring posters and print adverts to life on your mobile phone.
Hyundai is fully encompassing its philosophy New Thinking, New Possibilities by collaborating with technology company Aurasma to use its image recognition software to back up its latest advertising campaign.
By downloading a free app for Apple’s iPhone or Android (2.2 and above) phones, you can bring videos of Hyundai’s i40 Tourer to your hand.
If you see an advert in a magazine or paper, or a poster in the street, just point your phone at it and a video will start playing on your phone. This will let you explore all the car’s features, ask for a printed brochure or even book a test drive.
This innovative use of technology is setting the standard for the motoring industry and Aurasma is able to highlight how it sees people using their phones in the future to find out more information from static products.
Hyundai Motor Uk marketing director Andrew Cullis said: “The i40 Tourer has already created a stir within the market place by providing a stylish, technologically advanced and value for money new alternative in the medium family estate car sector — dominated by more established manufacturers. We have created a campaign that really showcases our brand philosophy of ‘New Thinking. New Possibilities’. Our fully integrated campaign ensures that every consumer touch point conveys the right message to the right people. And we’ve innovated by using cutting edge mobile technology to bring the print and poster campaign to life.”
