You’d better be quick for a B-King!
IF you want a Suzuki B-King muscle machine, you’d better be quick — there are only 30 left in the country.
The big bike makes its final bow on the UK market this year and Suzuki have made sure the last few machines fly out of dealers by knocking £1,340 off with its September only promotion giving a pound per cc off the retail price.
Coupled with zero per cent finance deal and only a pound coin needed as deposit, the B-King has never looked so tempting.
Unveiled as a concept bike a decade ago in 2001, the B-King entered production in 2007 due to public demand stoked by exhibitions and shows. Dealers around the world convinced Suzuki that they could sell the machine.
With the same engine as the legendary Suzuki Hayabusa, it is a surprisingly nimble and agile machine, despite its size.
General manager at Suzuki GB, Paul de Lusignan, said: “The B-King was really the first bike that made it from concept to dealer showrooms due to demand from our UK customers. When it was first revealed, customers were blown away by its futuristic styling and looks and from that point onwards we and our dealers were regularly asked about when it would make production. In 2007 it became reality and we were able to deliver the production model, which went on to impress testers and sell to the hardcore followers.
“The B-King is a great niche model which like the GSX1400 before it, is quickly becoming a cult bike. But this will be the last year of B-King, so potential customers should act quickly and take advantage of our September only ‘£1 per CC’ saving.”
