Yamaha aims to tempt you to two wheels
RISING fuel costs, snarled-up roads, indifferent public transport links — more and more people are finding the daily commute a frustration.
Buses and trains are seeing fares go up and crowding get worse.
With these issues to the forefront, Yamaha is aiming to save the public time and money by enticing them to get on two wheels.
As part of this commitment, the bike maker wants to remind lapsed riders — and those thinking of taking up riding — that returning to two wheels is more affordable than ever.
They have reduced the price on three twin-cylinder machines:
The TDM900 and XVS950A Midnight Star are both £6,999 and the XVS1300A Midnight Star now retails at £8,299. All prices include VAT but not first registration fee and road tax.
The twin-cylinder engines in all three of these machines provide relaxed and easy-to-use power, which gives reassurance to new and lapsed riders. So whether you see yourself making a laid-back statement with the V-twin XVS models or the sharper styling of the parallel-twin engined TDM, all three bikes come with a two-year unlimited mileage warranty and a year’s RAC cover for extra peace of mind.
All three machines can be purchased as part of Yamaha’s Smart Move promotion, which gives a variety of finance deals from interest-free to low rate finance over 60 months.
So, for just a 25 per cent deposit, you could find yourself riding out on a new Yamaha.
