Strictly James Jordan’s favourite bike
STRICTLY Come Dancing’s professional dance star and avid motorcycle enthusiast, James Jordan, has visited Honda with his wife and co-dance star Ola, to collect his favourite CBR600RR and also teach Honda’s staff a dance move or two.
Having passed his motorbike test three years ago as a life-long ambition, James has test ridden what he describes as ‘every bike you can imagine’, but the Honda CBR600RR takes his top spot. Over the final few weeks of this season’s Strictly Come Dancing show, James intends to use the class-leading machine as his main mode of transport for everyday life, which includes travelling to and from daily dance training with celebrity dance partner, Pamela Stephenson.
James commented, “As a young kid I wanted to ride a bike so much but my parents would never let me. But since passing my test I’ve been hooked on two-wheels and I think I’ve test ridden every bike imaginable, but without doubt the 600cc sports bike range is where I’m most at home and just love the feel of them.
“I’ve also done a lot of track days and it’s the Honda that I’d now go for every time as it’s awesome on the track but great and manageable on the road as well.
“I’ll be using the CBR600RR as my daily commuter to and from dance training for the remainder of this series of Strictly Come Dancing and then even after that as I don’t intend to let the winter weather come between me and my 600RR.”
James and his CBR600RR are likely to make a few appearances in Strictly Come Dancing, but James and Ola’s visit to Honda can also be glimpsed on the HondaUKMotorcycles channel on YouTube.
Now in its 8th season, Strictly Come Dancing stars James and Ola have now become household names having been involved with the show for the last five years. This year, James is paired with celebrity Pamela Stephenson although Ola and dance partner Paul Daniels were sadly voted out in week three.
