Come and join us — Suzuki invite to ladies
WHEN it comes to biking for women, Suzuki are proving they’re not all talk.
The successful launch of the ‘Girl Torque’ microsite last month has prompted Suzuki GB to host its first ladies-only track day next month at Donington Park in Leicestershire.
Taking place on September 14, just after the British Superbike (BSB) round at the circuit, all lady riders are welcome, whatever bike they own, to enjoy the wonderful world of biking.
The Relentless Suzuki by TAS Racing team will be there with riders Josh Brookes and Alastair Seeley. The sessions will be organised by ability, allowing riders to enjoy track action at their pace, while the racings stars will also join in.
Suzuki GB racing director and three times BSB champion, John Reynolds, said: “I’m absolutely delighted to be part of Suzuki’s first ever ladies track day. Since I retired from racing, I now spend a great deal of my time on-track instructing at various track days. In my experience there’s an increasing number of lady riders and although I probably shouldn’t say this, in general make the best pupils too, with a real interest to learn and improve as riders.”
To take part, visit the My Suzuki and Girl Torque sections of www.suzuki-gb.co.uk or book directly at www.focusedevents.com. The price is £105, which includes lunch and refreshments, a special limited edition T-Shirt and goody bag, free suspension set-up and advice from experts. And some famous female riders will be attending.
As if that wasn’t enough, if you bring a friend who doesn’t ride but would like to, the Get On team will be on-hand to chat with budding bikers while offering free demonstration rides. For more information please visit www.suzuki-gb.co.uk/my-suzuki/girl-torque/trackday/
